The American Baking Competition Wrap-up!

In case you missed it, Austin and I did a draft for The American Baking Competition back in May before its premiere.  It's been decided that whoever wins the most out of our four summer drafts (The American Baking Competition, HGTV Star, Next Food Network Star, and Big Brother 15) will get the first pick in the draft for Survivor, season 27: Blood vs. Water.  Seeing as how The American Baking Competition was the first of those four to drawn to an end, it's important to note who won the show - to see who won the first draft of the summer!

And the winner of The American Baking Competition is...

Brian Emmett!

Brian was a member of #TeamAustin, which gives Austin an early lead in the AustHan Summer Drafts!  It's fun to note that Brian was the 8th (out of 10) picked in our draft.  Side note: Darlene was my first pick (and the first pick in the draft overall) so I was quite happy to see her as the one member of #TeamHannah to make it to the final three!

Overall, I'm pretty surprised by the ending.  I thought a Francine win was clear-cut.  Whenever Austin returns and finds out this news, his little #Fraustine heart will be broken!  But congrats Brian!  You baked your butt off to get to the top spot - crutches and all, so I definitely have to respect you for that.

Now, I must win the Next Food Network Star and HGTV Star drafts!
