BB15 is coming and it's BIGGER than ever... allegedly!

Well #AustHanites, #BB15 is coming! The 15th installment, of our favorite show premieres on June 26th (Arguably one of the most important dates in AustHans World history!). And with that date, comes a brand new line-up of AHW content.




First things first, the AustHan Draft - Big Brother Edition:

I might only have one shot left at winning our Survivor draft (Come on Dawn!), but I have high expectations for the #BB15 version. For those of you who are unfamiliar with how these drafts work, Hannah and I pick teams based off of our first impressions. Ultimately, hoping to choose the winner. We want all of you to get involved in this process too! We will make our picks the day that the cast bios are released. From there, you will get the opportunity to choose your side. Are you #TeamAustinBB15 or #TeamHannahBB15? Fun Fact: These are AHW official hashies, so trend it!

In addition to the draft, we'll be bringing you daily articles on life inside the BB house. These articles will consist of breaking stories (Fruit Loops and Salmon anyone?), our thoughts on house haps, and of course episode recaps. We'll also be live Tweeting on eviction night, so be sure to give us a follow! @AustinBarns, @theonlytrace, and of course, @AustHansWorld. 

AustIntertainment Weekly Recap Show:

One of the developments that I am the most excited about this season, is the addition of our weekly #BB15 recap show. You can catch this show, hosted by me, on the YouTube channel AustIntertainment every Thursday afternoon. You never know what might happen on this show, so be sure to block off Thursday afternoons on your calender as early as June 27th!


Now that we've covered some of what we have in store for your #BB15 experience, let's talk news and rumors, shall we? Here's what I'm currently hearing in the Twitter world:

A New House? - Allegedly, the Big Brother house has been overhauled. I saw this Tweet late at night over the weekend, and haven't been able to find much on it research wise. Obviously, this will be confirmed or denied in the coming weeks when the house tour is released. I'm torn by this! I love the standard BB house. It's like my summer house! You don't just overhaul the layout of your beach/lake house do you? No! It becomes a place you love spending your summers. Themes and designs are great, but a complete rebuild? No thanks! The BB house is iconic as far as I'm concerned. I want to someday experience the house just as it was when some of my favorites lived there. Ain't nobody got time for rebuilds!

New Faces? - According to BigBrotherNetwork.com, CBS wants all new faces for this summers installment. Meaning no coaches, or duos with golden keys! I'm all for this, the last time that we saw a full cast of freshies was #BB12, and it's arguable that there were quite a few gems living in that house! Can they do it again? This is also great news for the AustHan draft. It's so not fun to choose people you already know! If we do see returnees this season, can we all agree that they need to be from a season prior to #BB10?

Feed Fiasco 2013 - As reported in early April, CBS has taken complete control of the live feed content for #BB15. I'm torn on this for many reasons. The SuperPass crew was/is amazing. I had the chance to spend #BB14 with them last summer, and to say that the experience was a blast wouldn't do it justice. CBS has big shoes to fill! I'm also hearing in the Twitter world that we'll be seeing, hearing, or reading more from the infamous Superfan Missy Z. this summer. I think that we can all agree that this is fantastic news! I for one can't wait to see what she has up her sleeve!

Big Brother 15 premieres June 26th!

Supersized Season - Once again, CBS is touting a supersized season. With last season giving us 16 houseguests, it's safe to assume that we'll see a similar number this season. But, then again, supersized could mean anything. Maybe Morgan Spurlock is moving in! It's also been confirmed by CBS that we'll be getting a longer season this summer. Made obvious of course by the June 16th premiere date. To quote America's Sweetheart Alana "Honey Boo Boo" Thompson - "Mo butter, Big Brother, mo better!"
