Big Brother After Dark is entering it's 8th season! |
CBS shocked Big Brother fans everywhere today, when they announced that the summer staple's companion show, Big Brother: After Dark, would move from Showtime to the TV Guide Network. The announcement comes on the heels of CBS obtaining complete control over the Big Brother Live Feed experience from Real SuperPass.
One notable complaint, already gaining attention from fans, is that the show will be broadcast for only 2 hours. This opposed to 3 hours on Showtime. In addition to the cut in time, fans are also worried about their uncensored content being watered down.

BBAD Moves to TVGN on June 26th! |
One thing to potentially ease the minds of fans, is that Big
Brother Canada: After Dark airs on Slice. A network similar in style to TVGN.
However, we should also note that Canada and the US have slightly different rules
and regulations when it comes to broadcasting.
CBS, partnered with Lionsgate, acquired 50 percent of the TV Guide Network (TVGN) in March. Since
then, they have been planning to beef up the networks lineup. Most notably,
pulling their rebroadcasts of the Daytime hit The Young and the Restless from the
ABC owned Soapnet, to begin airing on TVGN this summer.
Clearly, CBS has indicated that major changes are on the
horizon for BB15. We’ll find out just how different things are when the show
premieres on June 26th!
